  • Vice President, Executive Editor at Broadway Books, a division of Random House, where she developed Broadway’s award-winning cookbook program
  • Vice President and Senior Editor at Hearst Books/William Morrow
  • Senior Editor at Harmony Books, an imprint of Crown Publishers

Harriet Bell has been a featured lecturer and panel speaker on food and wine writing as well as a coach to potential writers at the International Association of Culinary Professionals annual conference, the Culinary Institute of America-Greystone, Johns Hopkins University and the Wine Writers’ Symposium at Meadowood. She has been a featured guest on a variety of radio and TV programs. Harriet has taught at mediabistro.com and is a member of the Women’s Media Group and Independent Editors Group (www.bookdocs.com).

In 2007, she founded bellbookandhandle.com, a literary consultancy and has helped many authors create, write and sell their book projects.
